Minimally invasive neuroma surgery

When conservative treatments failed to achieve adequate relief from neuromas, surgery may be indicated. However, before performing an open surgery to decompress or remove the nerve, there are other minimally invasive options that often work.

Minimally invasive neuroma surgery has the advantage of an easier recovery then open neuroma surgery. They can also be done in the office sometimes rather than in the operating room. They usually only require local anesthesia versus open surgery that requires local anesthesia plus IV sedation.

There are 3 types of minimally invasive neuroma surgery that we perform.

All 3 of these procedures work very well on the treatment of neuroma, therefore, reducing the amount of people that require open neuroma surgery.

For more information, please see the individual pages for each of these procedures.
