Nonsurgical neuroma treatment

Combinations of treatments for neuroma

There are many different noninvasive, conservative types of treatments for neuromas. When there exists many treatments for an underlying condition in medicine, it should tell you that not every one works for all people. If there was one treatment that worked on everyone, we would not need multiple treatments, obviously.

When treating neuromas, we like to start with the least invasive treatment and work our way up to more invasive treatments. After the diagnosis of neuroma is made, treatment can start immediately. Usually, on your first treatment, we will start with a combination of therapies.

We like to start with a combination of anti-inflammatory medications, biomechanical treatments, and physical therapy modalities. Not every patient is given the exact same treatment combination. We decide which treatments to start with based on the patients’ history and physical examination. Because every patient’s treatment combination is different, I will list below all the available treatment options in an easy to read, logical format. Just be advised that you will probably receive some combination of the below treatments at the discretion of the physician.
